Curated Zen Privacy Policy

Effective date 29 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Curated Zen collects, uses, stores and shares personal data when you visit curatedzen.co, make an enquiry, submit a form, book or receive a service, make a payment, communicate with us, or give permission for project publicity.

By using Curated Zen services or submitting information to us, you acknowledge this Policy. It should be read with the Curated Zen Terms and Conditions where you book a service.

1. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Curated Zen. It may include:

  • Your name, email address, telephone number and WhatsApp number.

  • General project location and, where required for the agreed service, the property address.

  • Property details, plans, measurements, photographs, videos, reference images and other project material.

  • Your preferences, budget, deadlines, constraints, questions and information about relevant decision-makers or stakeholders.

  • Consultation notes, instructions, approvals and correspondence.

  • Booking, invoice, payment-status and transaction-reference information. Payment credentials are handled by the applicable payment provider or payment channel and are not stored by Curated Zen.

  • Any optional testimonial, portfolio or project-publicity permission you provide.

2. How we use information

Curated Zen uses personal data only where reasonably necessary to:

  • Assess and respond to an enquiry or decide whether a service is suitable.

  • Communicate with you, schedule a consultation and administer the agreed service.

  • Prepare agreed consultancy deliverables, including advice, visualisations, roadmaps, drawings or other material within the purchased or agreed scope.

  • Process and reconcile payments, issue invoices or receipts, and maintain financial and service records.

  • Maintain records needed for legal, accounting, tax, warranty or dispute purposes.

  • Improve our systems using information that is non-identifiable or appropriately anonymised.

  • Publish project material only where you have given separate, optional permission for that specific use.

3. Service providers and disclosures

Curated Zen uses selected service providers to operate the business and provide services. Depending on your interaction with us, these may include Hostinger for website hosting, website email and Hostinger Analytics; Tally for forms; Google Drive for cloud storage and document handling; Calendly for scheduling; Google Meet or Zoom for video consultations; Razorpay and Business UPI payment channels for payments; and WhatsApp Business for communications.

These providers may process information on Curated Zen’s behalf or under their own applicable privacy terms. Some providers may process or store information outside India. Curated Zen may also share information where required by law, with professional advisers who are bound by confidentiality, or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or protect legal rights.

Curated Zen does not sell personal data.

4. Project material and publicity

Project material submitted for consultancy is treated as confidential within the ordinary service workflow. Curated Zen will not publish identifiable photographs, videos, plans, testimonials, Reels, case studies or other project material merely because you have purchased a service.

Any public use requires separate, optional permission. That permission will identify what may be used, the intended channel, the level of identification and any agreed limits. You may withdraw permission for future use by emailing hello@curatedzen.co. Material already published may take reasonable time to remove, and third-party reposts may be outside Curated Zen’s control.

5. Retention and security

Curated Zen uses reasonable organisational and technical safeguards and limits access to people who need the information for the purposes described in this Policy.

If you make an enquiry but do not book a service, we normally retain the enquiry information for up to 12 months. For clients, we normally retain project, service, invoice and payment records for up to 7 years after the service ends. We may retain information longer where required by law or reasonably necessary for a legal claim, dispute, accounting, tax or warranty purpose. When information is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymised where appropriate.

6. Your choices and requests

Subject to applicable law, you may ask Curated Zen to provide information about the personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, erase it, or stop processing based on consent. You may also raise a privacy concern or grievance. Please email hello@curatedzen.co. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may retain information that we are required or permitted to keep.

Curated Zen does not send marketing emails or WhatsApp messages unless you separately choose to receive them. You may withdraw that choice at any time by emailing hello@curatedzen.co or using the unsubscribe option where available.

7. Children’s information

Curated Zen services are intended to be purchased by adults. Clients should avoid uploading unnecessary information or images that identify children. If information about a child is genuinely necessary for a project, the adult who provides it confirms that they are authorised to do so. Curated Zen does not knowingly use children’s personal data for marketing, tracking or publicity.

8. Cookies and analytics

curatedzen.co is hosted on Hostinger and uses Hostinger Analytics to understand general website use, such as page visits and traffic patterns. The website and its providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function and to measure site usage. Curated Zen does not currently use advertising pixels or behavioural advertising tools.

If Curated Zen adds non-essential analytics, advertising, tracking or embedded third-party content in future, this Policy and the website’s cookie notice or consent approach will be updated as appropriate.

9. Changes to this Policy

Curated Zen may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version and its effective date will be published on curatedzen.co. If a material change affects the way we use information already provided, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected people where appropriate.
